Sharing our knowledge is an
important part of our business. This is why Opersys often takes the time to present its
work at conferences or through published articles. Not only does it provide others
with the chance to profit from our expertise and experience, but it also allows us
to obtain feedback from a very large audience through constructive debate.
The following material has been published (sometimes both online and on paper)
or has been presented at conferences. Download and use of the
material is subject to the copyright notice below. Any
feedback and suggestions you may have will be appreciated.
Books
Karim Yaghmour, Opersys founder and president, is the author of O'Reilly's
Building Embedded
Linux Systems. This book explains how to build an embedded Linux
system using the original open source and free software packages. All that
is needed to build an embeddded Linux system is this book and an Internet
connection. This book does NOT rely on any prepackaged set of tools and
does NOT require the purchasing of any "embedded Linux" product.
